Lesson 3: Making money with Adsense: Choosing the Content of your Website

Welcome to Lesson 3. By now, you should have already read the first two lessons about how to generate a steady stream of income using the Google Adsense System. If you have not already done so, I suggest you take a look at those previous two critical lessons. To go to lesson 1, please click Lesson 1. For Lesson 2, please click Lesson 2.

In Lesson 2, I briefly outlined the #1 thing you need to do to make money on the internet with Google Adsense (Getting a website). In addition, I also provided you with some links where you can get a website very easily. But I never told you what your website should be about in order to start cashing in on the Google Adsense pie, did I? Okay, let's talk about what your website should be about or its content. The content of your website is really, in a sense, what's going to earn you money. You need content and lots of it! Are you ready to start putting your website together? Okay, great! Let's get started on your website content.

Your website can be about anything...really, ANYTHING! Do you have something that you are passionate about or something (or subject) on which you have a lot of information? I am quite sure that there is something you can write a lot about. Let me help you out for a minute. How about some childhood play, activities, memory, etc? You can also write about your life experiences, hobbies (skidiving, skiing, skating, sports, etc.) Maybe you have something that you can write about that could teach your readers how to become better at it (like gofl, pool, poker, some type of board or card game, chinese checkers, chess, just to name a few). The point of this lesson is not to give you a specific topic for your website, but to inspire you to focus on something you are passionate about or some subject on which you have a lot of information.

Lesson 2: Getting Started with Google Adsense--You need a website!

In my previous post, I provided you with the quintessential aspect of the Google Adsense Formula. If you have not already read that post, please click on the lesson 1 link in the right, s-hand side navigation menu entitled "Lesson 1: Adsense Money--Making Money with Google Adsense"so you can familiarize yourself with this very simple and lucrative internet money-making formula. In this lesson, I am going to show you how to get started with Google Adsense। Are you ready? Sshh॥shhh! Class is now in session...let's get started.

Please keep this in mind: You cannot make money with adsense if you do not have a website! That makes sense, right? Let's agree on one thing here: where else would you place those ads if you did not have a website? So, the first thing you need is a website. I know that the prospect of getting a website maybe seem like a dillemma or a headache to you. This should not be the case. Back in the days, you needed to have HTML knowledge in order to create a website. This is not the case today. Nowadays, virtually anyone, yes anyone, can have a website without knowing a single HTML code! The scope of this lesson is way beyond HTML code, so I won't even bother to give you a definition of what HTML is. Web design companies make it extremely easy to obtain a website. If you are really serious about getting a website and making lots and tons of money with the Google Adsense formula, here are some quick resources that would assist you in getting your first website:

1. http://www.freewebs.com/ This one is very simple and easy to use. You can build your website within minutes! Best of all, it is completely free. You can even get a customized URL like http://yoursite.com . As s matter of fact, I have used it to build one of my websites located at http://www.momsmacktalk.com/. )
2. BlueVoda Website builder. Please click on the link to start building a professional looking website with this amazing tool! I have used it to build a couple of my sites. I am currently using it to build some "under construction" websites. Again, it is free! You just need to pay hosting once you are done building your website. I highly recommend this one.
3. Homestead Website Builder. I have not personally used this one, but many swear that it is a good website builder. I cannot tell you whether or not it is free. Please go to their website to learn more about them.
4. Earthlink Website Builder. I have not used this one either. Again go to their website to make sure it is right for you.

If you want more website-building companies or software, please just perform a Google search and just type something like "website building"; or "free websites", etc. You will be amazed at what you will find. Please choose wisely. Some website companies will let you create a website, but they will display their ads on your website. In other words, you make money for them. The only way they will remove their ads from your site is if you pay a subscription--monthly or yearly. Be careful when you choose.

I think this is the best way to get started with Google Adsense. Get a website. This is it for this lesson. Let's recap for a moment here:

2. You don't need to know HTML to build a website.
3. Many Website companies make it easy for you to get a website.
4. Be careful when you choose a web company. Some are free, some aren't. You get what you pay for or what you don't pay for.

If you have landed on this page, this is not an accident! You should keep on reading because you, like many other people, are trying to find a way to make money on the internet. Yes, you are, aren't you? When people claim they make money on the internet, maybe you are a skeptic, and, quite frankly, I do not blame you. Why? Because numerous are those who make "unrealistic" and exaggerated claims as to the amount of money they make on the internet. Well, let me reassure you that you can make money on the Internet, and the easiest way (probably to me) is through a very legitimate and easy formula called Google Adsense! You see, I am not asking you for your money or anything of that nature; I just want to help you make money, yes lots of money with Google Adsense! Since this is my first blog on this subject matter (there are many more to come in sequential order), let me walk you through this no-magic formula called Google Adsense. First of all, what is the Adsense formula and how can I make money with it? Please read on!

Google adsense is an advertising method developed by, of course, Google whereby you display their advertisers' ads on your website by means of a very simple code that is given to you. The ads will be displayed automatically on your website. Whenever someone clicks on those Google-displayed ads on your website, Google pays you! It's as simple as that. Let's recap:

Google Adsense = Ads displayed on your site + Clicks = Money for you!

If you have a website and do not take advantage of this simple money-making adsense system, you are making a big mistake! How can you tell someone is using the Google Adsense system? Here's how:

Take a look or scroll down this page. Do you you see an "ad space or image or links" stating ads by Google? Yes, you do. Those are Google-displayed ads, and yes I advertise for Google. Google gets paid, so do I! Why would Google pay you? The answer is simple: Google is not stupid! Advertisers pay Google to advertise for them (that's where the ads come from) and Google pays you to help them advertise. Google is amazingly intelligent! This is the "first lesson" for now, but before I end this first lesson, here are some points to keep in mind:

1. You can make money on the Internet; you don't need to sell products.


2. There numerous and exaggerated internet money-making claims.


3. The easiest method to make money on the Internet is with Google Adsense.


4. Google Adsense is an Internet-advertising method developed by Google.


5. The adsense formula is quite simple: Google Adsense = ads diplayed on your site + clicks = money for you


6. Google is intelligent; they get paid, and so do you. It's a win-win situation.
